Job DescriptionPOSITION:China Marketing Specialist
DEPARTMENT:Sales and Service
REPORTING TO:G. China General Manager
LOCATION :Molecular Devices Shanghai
JOB SUMMARY:The responsibility is analyzing and examining the marketing and promotional potential, in charge for the design and creation of marketing and promotional tools that will enable the company to make more inroads into the target market.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :Major Duties :
1.liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders, e.g. customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organizations
2.sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in different medias
3.arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials
4.maintaining and updating customer databases
5.organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
6.conducting market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups
7.contributing to and developing marketing plans and strategies
8.monitoring competitor activity
9.evaluating marketing campaigns
10.managing budgets
 
Education/Experience :
1.Bachelor degree in marketing/communications or B Sc degree
2.Minimum 5 years of marketing experience preferably in scientific products or medical products
3.Superior presentation and analytical skills, plus demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignmentssimultaneously
4.Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments
