Automation Engineer.

JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The Automation Engineer – China position has two general purposes:
• Service and support of ABEC’s equipment installations in China
• Automation design, specification, and programming to support ABEC’s systems
projects

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Automation specification and test plan development and review
• PLC, DCS, and HMI programming for a variety of biopharmaceutical process
equipment
• Automation testing – Bench, Factory, and Customer Sites
• Troubleshooting, repair, and upgrading of ABEC equipment installations

QUALIFICATIONS
• 2-4 years experience in process automation

• Experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Software, Siemens, and/or Emerson
automation platforms
• B.S. Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English
• Ability to travel approximately 25%, mostly within China and occasionally to the
US.
• Familiarity with ISA S.88
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry a strong plus, including knowledge of
GAMP 5
